Classic Pancake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 200g plain flour
- 2 large eggs
- 300ml milk
- Pinch of salt
- Butter or oil for frying
Instructions:
Sift the plain flour into a mixing bowl
Make a well in the center of the flour and crack in the eggs
Gradually add the milk while whisking to form a smooth batter
Add a pinch of salt and whisk again to incorporate
Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat and add a small amount of butter or oil to coat the bottom
Pour in a ladleful of the pancake batter and swirl it around to cover the pan evenly
Cook for 1-2 minutes until the edges start to lift and the underside is golden brown
Flip the pancake using a spatula and cook the other side for another 1-2 minutes or until golden brown
Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter or oil to the pan as needed
Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, fresh berries, or chocolate chips
