Mini Strawberry Strudel Bites



These Mini Strawberry Strudel Bites are a delightful combination of flaky puff pastry and sweet strawberry filling, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375F 190C

In a bowl, mix diced strawberries with granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice until well combined

Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into small squares

Place a spoonful of the strawberry mixture onto each pastry square

Fold the pastry over the filling to create small strudel bites and press the edges to seal

Brush the tops of the strudel bites with beaten egg for a golden finish

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crisp

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar

Serve warm and enjoy!
