Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

These Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies combine rich peanut butter with sweet chocolate chips. They're a delightful treat for all cookie lovers, soft and chewy on the inside with a slightly crispy edge.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375F 190C and line baking sheets with parchment paper

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the peanut butter, softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition

Stir in the vanilla extract

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined

Fold in the chocolate chips, distributing them evenly throughout the dough

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving enough space between each cookie

Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon or fork

Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely

Enjoy these delicious peanut butter chocolate chip cookies with a glass of milk or your favorite beverage!
